JOB SUMMARY

The Technician Deputy CCTV Manager supports the CCTV Manager in overseeing the installation, maintenance, and operation of the organization's surveillance systems. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with supervisory responsibilities to ensure optimal performance, security compliance, and rapid response to system issues.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of CCTV systems across all sites.

- Supervise and guide technicians in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.

- Monitor system performance and ensure timely upgrades or repairs.

- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment procurement and support.

- Maintain detailed logs of system activities, incidents, and maintenance schedules.

- Ensure compliance with data protection and surveillance regulations.

- Provide technical training and support to junior staff.

- Participate in planning and execution of CCTV expansion projects.

- Support emergency response and incident investigations using recorded footage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Qualification/Skills/Behavior, and Related Experiences.)

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, IT, or related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in CCTV system installation and maintenance.

- Strong knowledge of IP-based surveillance systems, NVRs/DVRs, and network configurations.

- Familiarity with access control, alarm systems, and integrated security platforms.

- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

- Strong leadership and communication abilities.

- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.
