Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Ledger Product Manager to design and own core accounting and ledger systems. This role focuses on fund flows, balance accuracy, auditability, and system integrity, working closely with Engineering, Finance, and Risk teams.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Design and maintain ledger and account systems (main/sub-accounts, available & frozen balances, multi-currency).

- Define fund movement rules: debit, credit, freeze, unfreeze, reversal, rollback, and compensation.

- Design ledger transaction models ensuring full traceability, audit, reconciliation, and historical replay.

- Build accounting state machines (pending / confirmed / failed) with idempotency and retry handling.

- Ensure system ledger aligns with financial ledger and historical data remains immutable.

- Deliver complete ledger product documentation (rules, models, exception handling).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(Education, Qualification/Skills/Behaviors, and Related Experiences.)

- 3–8 years of product management experience.

- Experience in accounting, wallet, settlement, payment, or fund-related systems.

- Strong understanding of:

- Balance vs. transaction flow

- Freeze vs. deduction

- Reversal vs. data modification

- Comfortable discussing state machines, idempotency, and immutable data with engineers.

Nice to Have

- Double-entry accounting / ledger mindset.

- Multi-currency or multi-entity settlement experience.

- Audit, reconciliation, or EOD/day-cut experience.

Not a Fit If You

- Only have BI or reporting experience.

- Only worked on frontend/feature products.

- Believe issues can be fixed by “editing one row of data.”

- Treat ledger systems like ordinary business tables.
