Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance/Accounting Officer to support daily and monthly financial operations in the casino environment. The role involves monitoring revenues and expenses, verifying supporting documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and preparing accurate financial records.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Daily:

-  Participates in the daily collection of reports and documents from Table Gaming, Slot, Cage, and Marketing,

Food and Beverage, Mini Bar, and other areas as required.

-  Check, verify, and maintain a working knowledge of Table Gaming, Slot, Cage, Marketing, Food, and

Beverage and Casino Mini Bar procedures, as well as their corresponding supporting and billing documents for the trading date and daily filing. Report any discrepancies.

-  Check and verify the Daily Win/(Loss) report of Slot Gaming Machines against machine long meters.

-  Register newly hired employees without a Tax Identification Number (T.I.N.) based on a fully completed

and signed the Tax Particulars form, and filled out and submitted the monthly Purchase Record for review by the Manager.

-  Verify and review actual purchases/procurement received and payments of goods and services from

Purchasing.

-  Prepare daily journal entries to record revenues and expenses, along with any balance sheet entries.

-  Coordinate with other departments/finance team members to ensure appropriate accounting treatment of

transactions and address any operational issues.

-  Assist the Manager in preparing daily supporting documents for submission to government regulators,

external parties, internal parties, and the senior management team.

-  Anticipate and assess issues, risks, or opportunities facing the Company, and apply effective and creative solutions.

-  Adopt and implement new approaches in response to changing circumstances.

-  Achieves agreed objectives and accept accountability for results.

-  Adhere to support the Company's Vision and Values.

-  Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager.

Monthly:

-  Prepare month-end accruals. Classify and check all recorded transactions to their respective accounts and

allocate them to respective departments.

-  Review the Monthly Win/(Loss) Control Sheet. Verify accuracy against the Daily Win/(Loss) report for

before submitting it to Finance Manager for confirmation.

-  Conduct a monthly audit/actual count of Cash, Chips and Plaques in the Cage, at least once a month or as

directed by the Finance Manager.  

-  Conduct a monthly actual count of Slot Cage cash.

-  Conduct a monthly actual count of playing cards for month-end accounting.

-  Conduct a monthly inventory count of cigarettes, wines, etc.

-  Perform inventory taking as directed.

-  Address other matters as they arise 

Other Duties:

-  Verify the arrival of new chips.

-  Verify the disposal of fixed assets and old playing cards.

-  Address other matters as they arise.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS
(Education, Qualification/Skills/Behavior, and Related Experiences.)

-   Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

-   At least 1 year of experience as a Finance Accounting.

-   Good in English communication.

-   Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office.

-   Ability to manage confidential data responsibly.
