Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Food, Non-Food, and GMS categories, including commercial strategy, supplier negotiation, product assortment, pricing, and promotions to drive sales and profitability. Ensures optimal stock levels, monitors performance, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to support business growth.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Food, Non-food, and GMS categories in alignment with overall business objectives.

- Lead category planning, including product assortment, pricing, promotion schedules, and lifecycle management, including Chinese products.

- Manage and negotiate with suppliers (Trade Term Agreements) to ensure the best cost, supply reliability, and promotional support.

- Strong in retail systems and administration; able to work independently on systems (from business set-up stage).

- Monitor category performance through sales, margin, inventory, and market data; recommend corrective actions where needed.

- Collaborate with supply chain and planning teams to ensure optimal stock levels across all stores.

- Lead the execution of marketing and promotional activities in coordination with marketing and store teams.

- Ensure product compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.

- Identify trends, innovations, and new products in the segments to drive assortment growth and differentiation.

- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, distributors, and partners to support long-term category development.

- Collaborate with finance, operations, and store teams to align procurement and purchase orders (P.O.) with business needs.

- Prepare performance reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.

 

         JOB REQUIREMENTS
         (Education, Qualification/Skills/Behavior, and Related Experiences)

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Modern Trade & Wholesale, or a related field.

- At least 3 years of experience in retail/FMCG commercial management, ideally handling Food, Non-food, and GMS product categories.

- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in supplier negotiation and category performance management.

- Excellent knowledge of dairy and frozen product handling, seasonality, and supply chain dynamics.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and financial data.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/retail management systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, etc.).

- Detail-oriented with a strong customer and quality focus.

- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Flexible and willing to travel to provinces when required.
