1. Strategic Planning & Market Analysis
· Develop and implement group-wide procurement strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
· Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and value creation.
· Monitor global and local market trends, supplier developments, and commodity price movements.
Establish long-term sourcing strategies and supplier diversification plans.
2. Vendor & Contract Management
· Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations.
· Develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers to secure competitive advantages.
· Ensure supplier performance meets quality, delivery, compliance, and service standards.
· Manage supplier risk assessments and business continuity planning.
3. Financial & Operational Execution
· Manage procurement budgets and expenditure controls.
· Drive annual cost-saving and cost-avoidance initiatives.
· Ensure timely procurement of goods, materials, and services.
· Monitor procurement KPIs and operational efficiency metrics.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner with Finance, Operations, Construction, Manufacturing, Logistics, and other departments to align procurement activities with business requirements.
· Support strategic projects, expansion initiatives, and operational improvements.
5. Team Leadership & Capability Development
· Lead, coach, and develop procurement managers and team members.
· Build backup talent for each role within 3-6months
· Establish performance objectives and succession planning.
· Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
