JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an Extra-Low Voltage Engineer who responsible on designing, installing, and maintaining systems that operate at low voltages, typically below 50V AC or 120V DC. These are not high-power electrical systems, but rather communication, control, and security systems within buildings or infrastructures.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Design and develop ELV systems including CCTV, door access control, public address/broadcasting, intercom, and other related systems.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts in AutoCAD/Revit (or other design tools).
• Develop bills of quantities (BOQ), material specifications, and technical documentation for tendering and procurement.
• Coordinate ELV system designs with architectural, civil/structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure integration with overall project requirements.
• Review and validate vendor/shop drawings and technical submissions for compliance with project specifications.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all designs and implementations comply with local codes, international standards, and client specifications.
• Participate in site inspections, design coordination meetings, and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Keep updated with the latest technologies, standards, and best practices in ELV and security systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in ELV systems design and engineering within construction or building services projects.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, public address/broadcasting systems, and other low voltage solutions.
• Manufacturer certifications (e.g., for CCTV, access control systems, or PA systems) are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, access control, public address, intercom, structured cabling, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent drafting/design software.
• Familiarity with international standards (BS, IEC, NFPA, UL, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking principles (IP configurations, switches, servers for CCTV and access control).
• Ability to produce clear and accurate construction/shop drawings.
