Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking expert in container orchestration and private cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient containerized environments using platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift, while also architecting and maintaining private cloud solutions (e.g., OpenStack, VMware, Nutanix). Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver agile, high-performance applications across hybrid environments.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Proficient in at least one mainstream container orchestration platform (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, Apache Mesos, etc.) architecture and core components, with deployment and operations experience in on- premises environments.
- Familiar with private cloud and virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE, OpenStack, etc.) in data center scenarios and their integration with container platforms.
- Capable of configuring and optimizing resource scheduling, service discovery, and load balancing in mixed bare-metal, VM, and container environments.
- Knowledgeable in container technologies (Docker, containerd, CRI-O) and Linux networking & storage management (NFS, Ceph, GlusterFS, etc.) principles.
- Able to design and implement CI/CD processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Harbor private registry, etc.) without relying on public cloud.
- Capable of deploying high-availability clusters, disaster recovery, and backup solutions in on premises data centers (multi-node HA, cross-data-center hot/cold standby).
- Able to perform secondary development (custom Controllers/Operators) to extend orchestration platform functionality for specific business needs.
- Use Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zabbix, and other monitoring systems to monitor cluster status and provide alerts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Prefer candidates with multi-cluster management and resource scheduling experience in on premises data centers.
- Engineers with hybrid deployment experience (virtualization + containerization) are better suited.
- Candidates with private/hybrid cloud migration experience can later expand to more deployment models.
- For high-reliability needs, hire candidates with HA, disaster recovery, and data security solution design experience.
