Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an English-Khmer Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons, support student learning, assess progress, communicate with parents, and maintain academic records.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Plan, prepare, and deliver personalized lessons in both English and Khmer.
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate teaching strategies and materials.
- Create a supportive and positive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor the children's progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Communicate regularly with parents about the children’s progress and areas for improvement.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs and interests of each child.
- Maintain records of the children’s attendance and academic performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
(Education, Qualification/Skills/Behavior, and Related Experiences.)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Language Teaching, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience as an English-Khmer teacher
- Teaching certification is highly desirable.
- Prior teaching experience, particularly with young children, is preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and Khmer.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children.
