Job Summary:
The Videographer cum Gaffer is a multifaceted role responsible for capturing high-quality video footage and providing lighting support on video shoots. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in videography and lighting techniques, as well as creativity in visual storytelling. The individual will collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members to achieve the desired aesthetic and technical standards for film, television, or digital media projects.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a videographer and gaffer in film, television, or digital media productions.
2. Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, DSLRs, or cinema cameras.
3. Strong understanding of cinematography principles, including composition, framing, and camera movement.
4. Experience with lighting techniques, equipment, and electrical systems.
5. Proficient in using lighting control software and light metering tools.
6. Knowledge of post-production workflows and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel to different locations for shoots.
9. Creative flair and attention to detail in visual storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Cinematography, or related field.
2. Certification or training in videography, lighting design, or electrical work.
3. Portfolio demonstrating previous work as a videographer and gaffer.
4. Familiarity with grip equipment and rigging techniques.
5.. Experience working with different types of lighting fixtures, including LEDs, tungsten, and HMI lights.
