Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Supermarket Operation Manager who is responsible for making sure the whole supermarket runs smoothly day to day. Their job covers many areas, from people management to stock control and customer service.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, stock control, cashier operations, and housekeeping.
- Ensure all products are displayed in alignment with brand standards and promotional guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and product availability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Coordinate with mall management regarding operational issues, promotions, or facility matters.
- Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and supervise supermarket staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for staff development.
- Plan and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Collaborate with mall management regarding security, maintenance, and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure the supermarket adheres to mall regulations and tenant guidelines.
- Participate in mall-wide promotional events or campaigns to drive foot traffic.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and readiness for daily operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

and Related Experiences)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supermarket or retail operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within mall environments is an advantage.
