Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise sales staff.
- Schedule employees and provide coaching, counseling, and performance feedback.
- Motivate the team to achieve high levels of customer service and sales.
- Sales & Profitability:
- Set and meet sales targets to maximize profitability.
- Analyze sales figures and forecast future trends to inform strategies.
- Plan and implement in-store sales promotions, events, and visual displays.
- Inventory & Stock Control:
- Manage stock levels, order new products as needed, and conduct regular stock takes.
- Ensure the store has sufficient merchandise to meet customer demand and minimize losses.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently provided.
- Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback effectively.
- Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and smooth functioning.
- Monitor and control budgets, expenses, and financial records.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and security measures to protect against theft and fraud.
