Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise sales staff. 
    • Schedule employees and provide coaching, counseling, and performance feedback. 
    • Motivate the team to achieve high levels of customer service and sales. 
  • Sales & Profitability:
    • Set and meet sales targets to maximize profitability. 
    • Analyze sales figures and forecast future trends to inform strategies. 
    • Plan and implement in-store sales promotions, events, and visual displays. 
  • Inventory & Stock Control:
    • Manage stock levels, order new products as needed, and conduct regular stock takes. 
    • Ensure the store has sufficient merchandise to meet customer demand and minimize losses. 
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently provided. 
    • Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback effectively. 
  • Operations & Compliance:
    • Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and smooth functioning. 
    • Monitor and control budgets, expenses, and financial records. 
    • Implement and enforce health, safety, and security measures to protect against theft and fraud.
