Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Bakery Chef is responsible for preparing and decorating baked goods to international brand standards, developing new menu items, and ensuring product quality and consistency. The role involves supervising and training staff, managing inventory, maintaining food safety standards, controlling costs, and supporting promotional and seasonal offerings while upholding the brand’s identity.

        KEY
 ACCOUNTABILITIES

Prepare, bake, and decorate bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to international brand standards.

- Develop new menu items in line with seasonal trends and brand identity.

- Maintain product quality, taste, and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Supervise, train, and motivate all bakery staff in all branches to follow recipes and procedures.

- Manage inventory of ingredients and place orders with approved suppliers.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

- Monitor baking equipment, ovens, and tools to ensure proper maintenance.

- Work closely with management to implement promotional menus and seasonal offerings.

- Control food costs and minimize waste while maintaining quality.

- Represent the brand by maintaining consistency across all bakery items.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
(Education, Qualification/Skills/Behavior, and Related Experiences.)

- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts / Pastry & Baking, or equivalent experience.

- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Bakery Chef or Pastry Chef.

- Proficiency in speaking, writing, and listening in English.

- Previous experience in training, mentoring, or coaching staff preferred.

- Strong knowledge of bakery techniques, pastry art, and food safety standards.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Creativity, attention to detail, and passion for bakery innovation.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
